We have started with the manufacturing of the HFS-E3! Last week we started with cutting the tubes and this week the tubes have been bended and we started welding the floor.⚙️

We just have to wait for the welding jig to be ready so we can finish the frame before the end of this year.🏎️

HFS Van🚐

We’ve been given the opportunity to test an eCrafter van with a range extender. This van is a project by Green Planet, HAN Automotive Research, Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat and together with a group of HAN students, a battery extender has been installed, giving the van a range of 400 km.🔋

Thanks to this van, we have become much more independent in terms of transportation. We use it to pick up supplies and to transport our race simulator and race car to events.⚡️

On the 16th of October we attended the ACE career day at the HAN. Organised by our sponsor ACE.

It was a great day that gave us the opportunity to network with companies throughout the automotive industry and showcase our team and the project to students.

Last Tuesday our High and Low Voltage departments received their NEN 9140 certificates. This certification allows them to work safely on the high voltage systems of electric vehicles which is important as we get ready to start some hands-on work on the HFS-E3. 🏎️
