𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗱𝗿𝘆-𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱
Another milestone for CEBO’s new fully automated big bag filling installation: together with PanPac Engineering a/s and Kalkman Projecten BV, the dry-test phase has now been successfully completed. During this phase, the installation was tested without material to verify the mechanical operation and system functionality. The project continues to move forward towards commissioning.

𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗢’𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵
Over the past few weeks, CEBO has completed the asphalt paving of a previously unused section of the site, formerly used as a yard area. This development has resulted in approximately 2,900 m² of additional storage capacity for big bags.

The newly paved area provides space for around 2,000 big bags stored on pallets. By stacking the big bags, total storage capacity can be increased to approximately 3,800 units.

The expansion is part of CEBO’s ongoing efforts to optimise logistics and create additional operational space in support of continued growth. By relocating part of the big bag storage, additional storage capacity for bagged products is also being created elsewhere.

With this expansion, CEBO continues to invest in improving efficiency, flexibility and future operational capacity across the site.

Recently, the international CEBO / Baroid IDP Sales team met during the annual sales meeting to discuss developments within the European market. During these two days, the team was joined by colleagues/partners from Halliburton, creating the perfect opportunity to exchange insights, align strategies, and strengthen cooperation.

𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲
The next phase in the construction of CEBO’s new fully automated big bag filling installation is progressing according to plan. Last week, Frank de Groot (Manager Technical Department) and Patrick Harsveld (Supervisor Mechanical Technical Department) visited Belgium to inspect the new silo that will support the installation. The visit included a look at the silo in the blasting cabin, as well as several parts of the supporting steel structure.

Parts of the construction and several machine components have now arrived on site and have been positioned inside the warehouse. In parallel, the Electrical Technical Department is currently installing the lighting infrastructure.

Starting this week week PanPac Engineering a/s will begin the installation and assembly of the new big bag filling system. The installation is expected to be completed within two weeks.The silo and supporting structure are scheduled to arrive at CEBO on Monday 1 June, fully preserved and ready for installation.

Overall, the project continues to progress largely according to schedule.

CEBO Holland has recently replaced two existing vehicles with new Opel Combo vehicles, now fully branded with the new logo. The vehicles were delivered by Janssen Van Kouwen Automotive.

During the development of the new logo, Emogy Marketing- en Reclamebureau voor de techniek - Heerhugowaard introduced this style as a visual concept, simply as an impression of what could be. Its distinctive look stood out immediately, just that little bit different, which made it worth bringing to life.

The vehicle wrapping was carried out by Letterop Reklame IJmuiden, with a result that clearly stands out. 💙

The first registrations for the CEBO Mudschool 2026 are coming in, great to see the enthusiasm already building.

This year is a special one, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary edition of the CEBO Mudschool. From 16 to 20 November, we will once again welcome participants to IJmuiden for a week of in-depth learning, practical case studies and valuable connections across the industry.

𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼: 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝟳
Beneath the A7 motorway, Heijmans is delivering a technically complex drilling project on behalf of SPIE Nederland and Qirion. The project involves three parallel bores, each stretching 1,285 metres, with just 5 metres between them, a true feat of precision. Each bore will house three 200 mm PE ducts for power cables. After completing the pilot bore, the hole is reamed out to 680 mm before the ducts are pulled into place.

To minimise risks at the exit point, a “meeting in the middle” approach is used. A second rig drills approximately 350 metres from the opposite side towards the main bore. This keeps ground pressures under control and prevents excessive stress in the borehole.

The first bore was completed in just five hours, with a pull force of 24 tonnes, achieving speeds of over 250 metres per hour. Performance like this is only possible when preparation, ex*****on and materials are perfectly aligned.

𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗟® 𝗢𝗖𝗠𝗔 is used on this project, playing a key role in maintaining borehole stability under these demanding conditions.
