𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗢 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝟱𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀
On June 5, CEBO celebrated its 50th anniversary with a memorable event at Forteiland IJmuiden.

From helicopter flights along the Dutch coastline and speedboat rides through the harbour to archery, guided fort tours, a BBQ, live music and a pub quiz, the day offered plenty of opportunities for colleagues to come together and celebrate this special milestone.

A highlight of the day was the recognition of employees celebrating 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and even 50 years of service. Their dedication and commitment have helped shape CEBO over the past five decades.

A big thank you to PBN Forteiland IJmuiden and the CEBO event committee for making this anniversary celebration possible.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟬𝟬𝟬+ 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗢’𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆
CEBO has recently added a Malvern Mastersizer 3000+ to its laboratory. This new instrument will replace the Sympatec Particle Size Distributor (PSD).

The Mastersizer 3000+ uses laser diffraction technology to determine particle size distributions quickly and accurately across a wide measurement range. The instrument can perform both dry and wet measurements. During wet measurements, the sample material is dispersed in water to ensure that individual particles are properly separated, resulting in more detailed and accurate analyses.

As companies such as Halliburton also use a Malvern Panalytical Mastersizer, measurement results can be compared and discussed more easily.

In addition to its enhanced analytical capabilities, the Mastersizer 3000+ offers extensive reporting options and improved integration with modern computer systems. This enables measurement data to be processed, stored and shared more efficiently.

With this investment, CEBO continues to enhance its laboratory capabilities, supporting accurate analyses, reliable measurement results and the ongoing optimisation of laboratory processes.

𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝗺³ 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱
Another milestone for CEBO’s new fully automated big bag filling installation: the new 150 m³ silo has now been successfully installed.

In close cooperation with Schot Verticaal Transport B.V., the silo was safely positioned and installed next to the new warehouse. The silo forms an essential part of the new installation and will provide storage and controlled material supply to the automated filling line. With this key component now in place, the project continues to move forward towards commissioning.

Further updates will follow as the project progresses and the new facility moves closer to becoming fully operational.

𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗢 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
At CEBO, continuous learning and development are key priorities. Over the coming weeks, all employees will participate in a hands-on Microsoft training program delivered by Camille Janszen Crossmedia at Wisseloord.

Initiated by CEBO's Global IT Manager, Ioannis Pantazis, this training program is designed to further strengthen digital skills and help employees make the most of the Microsoft tools available to them. Delivered in several sessions over the coming weeks, the program allows both beginner and advanced users to develop their skills at the appropriate level. The training covers Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.

The focus is on improving collaboration, communication and document management. Through practical exercises, employees will learn how to use Teams as a central collaboration platform, share documents securely through OneDrive, and make the most of SharePoint for managing and organizing information.

By investing in knowledge and skills, CEBO continues to build a future-ready organization where collaboration, efficiency and digital innovation go hand in hand.

𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗱𝗿𝘆-𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱
Another milestone for CEBO’s new fully automated big bag filling installation: together with PanPac Engineering a/s and Kalkman Projecten BV, the dry-test phase has now been successfully completed. During this phase, the installation was tested without material to verify the mechanical operation and system functionality. The project continues to move forward towards commissioning.

𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗢’𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵
Over the past few weeks, CEBO has completed the asphalt paving of a previously unused section of the site, formerly used as a yard area. This development has resulted in approximately 2,900 m² of additional storage capacity for big bags.

The newly paved area provides space for around 2,000 big bags stored on pallets. By stacking the big bags, total storage capacity can be increased to approximately 3,800 units.

The expansion is part of CEBO’s ongoing efforts to optimise logistics and create additional operational space in support of continued growth. By relocating part of the big bag storage, additional storage capacity for bagged products is also being created elsewhere.

With this expansion, CEBO continues to invest in improving efficiency, flexibility and future operational capacity across the site.
