Since 1965, Kumera Norgear has designed, developed and manufactured marine power transmissions for customers across the globe. In 1979, Kumera Norgear became a member of the Kumera Corporation, a leading supplier of industrial and marine mechanical power transmissions and services since 1945. As part of a global company, we offer corporate units in Finland, Norway, Austria and China, with worldwide 24/7 service and support by certified partners and agents across the globe. Our in-house capabilities include foundries, steel fabrication plants, several specialist gear-cutting and case-hardening facilities, as well as R&D centres in Finland, Austria and Norway.
