Since 2011 BioWaz Group is owned by Hugaas Group and Management. /employees. Hugaas is a mid-Norway based industrial group with a group turn over of 50 mill EUR (EBITDA 3,5 mill EUR). The group operates in agri-tech, white and red meat (production and distribution) and construction, turn-key industrial buildings and steel constructions. The Hugaas Hatchery is part-owned by REMA1000, which in turn is one of Scandinavia's largest retailers (second largest in the European conveniance market). The hatchery is the largest privately held hatchery in Norway with more than 30% market share.
