OpenAI literally had to write "NEVER TALK ABOUT GOBLINS" into their AI's rulebook four times.

Their latest model (GPT-5.5) kept randomly bringing up goblins, gremlins, raccoons, and trolls in completely unrelated conversations. Turns out a training glitch in its "Nerdy personality" mode rewarded fantasy creature metaphors β€” and the goblins just kept multiplying.

The fix? A line in their internal code that bans the model from mentioning goblins, pigeons, ogres, or raccoons "unless absolutely and unambiguously relevant."

Even Sam Altman jumped in saying Codex was having a "goblin moment." πŸ’€

πŸ‘‡ Drop your reaction below β€” which one are you?
A) πŸ˜‚ AI is unhinged and I love it
B) πŸ€” This is how AI actually gets trained??
C) 🧌 Honestly… keep the goblins
D) 😐 OpenAI is losing the plot

I see so many people stressing about whether they need a degree or a bootcamp/YouTube.

Truth is, the job market has shifted. Companies place much more emphasis on your GitHub and your ability to solve problems than on where you sat in a lecture hall. That said, that 'piece of paper' still opens doors that are locked tight for self-taught devs.

Which path are you on right now? CS student or self-taught?πŸ˜„

META JUST BOUGHT A ROBOT STARTUP!

Meta has acquired ARI (Assured Robot
Intelligence) , a startup that was building
AI to teach humanoid robots how to do
physical tasks like household chores.

Here's what you need to know πŸ‘‡

πŸ”Ή The entire ARI team joins Meta's
Superintelligence Labs division

πŸ”Ή Their robots were designed to understand,
predict and adapt to human behaviour

πŸ”Ή Meta has been secretly working on
humanoid robotics for YEARS

πŸ”Ή The humanoid robot market could be worth
$5 TRILLION by 2050

And here's the wild part :
Amazon ALSO just bought a robot startup
Last month.

So we have Meta AND Amazon both racing
to put robots in your home. πŸ‘€

Think about it this way ,
Right now, AI lives in your phone.
Soon, it might live in your living room.
Walking around. Doing your dishes.

Are we ready for this? πŸ€”
