🏛️ The historic 43-meter clock tower of the Hôtel de Ville de Limoges ( Ville de Limoges ) collapsed into flames during nationwide protests across France.
🤯 Did you know the town hall is literally sitting on an ancient empire? Unbeknownst to many, the town hall was constructed in 1883 directly over the underground ruins of the ancient Gallo-Roman forum of Augustoritum.
📐Masterwork of Engineering: Designed by Charles-Alfred Leclerc (chief architect of Versailles), its massive 43m belfry was engineered with heavy interior masonry piers that channeled thousands of tons of weight straight down to a granite plinth. It uniquely incorporated world-famous Limoges porcelain and colorful enamel directly into its load-bearing limestone facade.

⚙️ Thapathali Campus ( Institute of Engineering, Thapathali Campus ) was founded in 1966 (29th Falgun, 2023 B.S.) as the Technical Training Institute (TTI) and was officially inaugurated in person by the President of West Germany, Dr. Heinrich Lübke, alongside King Mahendra.
From 2029 BS, the TTI was formally renamed Thapathali Campus under Tribhuvan University's Institute of Engineering (IOE).
🏛️ Pulchowk Campus was established later in 1972 (2029 B.S.) following a major educational restructuring to serve as the central hub for higher-level engineering degrees.

बल्खु स्थित इन्जिनियरिङ अध्ययन संस्थान (त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय), थापाथली क्याम्पसको ( Institute of Engineering, Thapathali Campus ) Material and Testing Lab को आज मिति २०८३-०६-२५ गते आइतबारका दिन त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयका उपकुलपति ज्यूको उपस्थितिमा औपचारिक रूपमा उद्घाटन भएको छ । उक्त कार्यक्रममा त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयका रजिष्ट्रार ज्यू, पदाधिकारी ज्यूहरु, थापाथली क्याम्पसका (Thapathali Campus ) पूर्व क्याम्पस प्रमुख तथा प्राध्यापक ज्यू हरु, विद्यार्थी तथा कर्मचारीहरू एवं शुभचिन्तकहरूको उपस्थिति रह्याे।
यस Material Testing Laboratory ले विद्यार्थीहरूलाई प्रयोगात्मक शिक्षा तथा अनुसन्धानमा टेवा पुर्याउने उद्देश्य लिएको छ। साथसाथै यस टेस्टिङ ल्याबले विश्वसनीय व्यावसायिक परीक्षण तथा सरकारी, निजी तथा निर्माण सेवा सम्बन्धित सरोकारवालाहरुलाई प्राविधिक परामर्श दिने उद्देश्य समेत राखेको छ ।
