We have implemented a driver leaderboard tracking speed, harsh breaking and other important driving behaviours which is driving improvements in safety for all road users.
We are encouraging every member of the Tūpore whānau to be a road safety hero!

A huge shout out to Jobs and Skills Hub Hawke's Bay for arranging such a great Trades Expo last week with 22 stall holders and over 200 attendees. It was so good to meet candidates, several of whom will move through to an interview with us which is a fantastic outcome from this awesome event.
The interactive stalls, mix of training providers, employers and motivated candidates made the event really worthwhile. This is exactly what we need for our community.

A huge shout out to our amazing "Tūpore Trekkers" for their efforts over the weekend.
They sold $1100 worth of raffle tickets and raised a whopping $4725 through donations to the team which all goes to the Jolly Good Chaps Charitable Trust.
They proudly wore their No More Potholes T. Shirts and rode their scooters from Napier to Wellington setting off at the crack of dawn and braving the wind along the way!
Congrats team! We are all so proud of your efforts for our community.

This morning, we were thrilled to share with our team the positive uplift in work which has come about from the hard mahi our team has done to tender for and get projects across the line.
Our No More Potholes product is on more shelves around the country and is receiving positive reviews which our Asphalt staff are super proud of!
We were also able to share news of our shiny new bitumen sprayer which has a 12,000 litre tank, telescopic booms and a cloud-based system which sends live information back to head office.
We are looking forward to sharing more progress as we further expand No More Potholes nationally.

We’re excited to share that the Tūpore group is gearing up for an exhilarating event that not only embodies the spirit of teamwork and fun but also supports a noble cause close to our hearts. We’re talking about the 2025 Grand Annual Jolly Good Chaps Napier to Wellington 50cc Scooter Charity Challenge.

The Jolly Good Chaps Charitable Trust is a spirited group of Hawke’s Bay lads dedicated to raising funds for local community groups, projects, and causes while creating a lasting community fund that will benefit Hawke’s Bay for generations to come. They believe in combining charity with good cheer and have a jolly good time doing it!

Last year our Asphalt and Assets Manager (Andrew and Rowan) took on this somewhat torturous but utterly rewarding challenge, inspiring such enthusiasm among our colleagues that we’ve now expanded our team to an adventurous group of seven! They’re ready to put their skills (and their backsides) to the test for an exhilarating 7-10 hours of scooting goodness on March 1st, all in the name of raising vital funds for charity.
The team would be thrilled to receive any support possible as part of this remarkable journey! Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant impact and helps our team to move closer to our fundraising goals. Funds raised empower local charities but also create a ripple effect of positive change in our community.

The team at Tūpore kicked off the year with a fantastic day of fun and training earlier this week. With 7 training stations, shared kai, fun competitions and the roll out of our new health and safety initiative to support the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of all our staff we are certainly set up for a great year of mahi ahead!
