Scott / Clark / Ngaroma Views Road Roundabout is now OPEN!

Thank you for your patience while we constructed this critical safety upgrade for the community. We’re pleased to share that the roundabout was fully opened on 27th March.
There are just a few final touches to complete on the berms, but these won’t affect access—so you’re good to go!

A big thank you to everyone who supported this project; Auckland Transport, Hobsonville Church & Settlers' Cemetery, the neighbours who stopped by regularly to say hello.

And a special thanks to Aedifice Developments for funding the roundabout / Scott Road upgrade as part of their wider development at Limeburners Bay.

Scott Road Lane Upgrade - POSTPONED

Auckland Transport has postponed the lane upgrade until further notice.

The Joshua Carder Road extension is located on private land, and its construction depends on the developer/landowner. Auckland Council and Auckland Transport will fully support and approve the necessary consent to construct this section of road. Any questions about the extension or alternative detours should be directed to Auckland Council or Auckland Transport.

We will update you once we have received more information.

Scott Road Lane Upgrade Project Starts September 2025!

We're excited to work with Auckland Transport to upgrade one lane of Scott Road from Clark Road intersection to #4 Scott Road.

Stage 1: Lane upgrade. Lane closure with temporary traffic lights.
Stage 2: Intersection upgrade. Lane closure with detour.

We are working closely with the community to keep disruptions to a minimum. We'll host a community evening soon - details to come!

Puketutu Island progressing well, the new Volvo Ec480 and A30G , A30F and Komatsu D65px dozer are hard out, the newly designed Volvo L180G compactor is also doing a great job spread and compacting the fill.

VOLVO L120H COMPACTOR, The compactor kit and L120H have been delivered to the engineering workshop to start fitting for the new conversion. This compactor will be completed before Christmas ready for work and demonstration. The photo of the model will be the finished product. We have ordered a new Volvo L150H loader and will be delivered by 19th of December, this build will begin right after the L120H conversion. Will keep everyone posted with progress.
The new compactor wheels are being welded up and the dozer blade is have the final mounting positioned, we will miss our Xmas target ☹️ but mid January looking good ! 👍👍

SELO, progressing well, decontamination now complete, well underway with the environmental controls to allow the start of the bulk earthworks, the main stormwater 1050mm line is being installed mid November. To reduce our trucking impact on the local roads we have been able to backload construction aggregates. Manukau Quarry has been really helpful in enabling this.
Progressing well, surplus topsoil all but gone, main trunk stormwater and sewer underway, excavation of the unsuitable of main gully started, some nasty stuff in there!😔. But we will sort it out.
