This basement was previously an unusable space. We completely transformed it into a warm, functional entertaining area with a hidden TV door leading through to a custom wh**ky bar.

To ensure this space stays dry for years to come, we sealed the concrete slab with a 2-part epoxy moisture barrier before laying the tiles, eliminating future moisture and mould concerns.

For acoustic performance, we installed a Rondo suspended ceiling system with 13mm Noiseline plasterboard, significantly reducing sound transfer to the bedrooms above.

A project with a lot of hidden detail, but the end result speaks for itself.

This space originally started as a damp basement area — something that commonly comes with moisture and condensation issues. To make sure it was built properly for the long term, we carried out extensive waterproofing and moisture-control work before finishing the space out.

We chose tiled flooring throughout to create a durable, low-maintenance area that’s about as bulletproof as you can get. We also installed a humidity control system which has been working an absolute treat keeping the space dry and comfortable year-round.

Stoked with how this one turned out. Clean, warm, modern and built to last.

Project I was part of delivering end of 2024.

Really cool build — constructed in two sections off-site, transported to Pauanui, then joined together on site with no crane.

A lot of planning and precision went into making that work. Good to be involved in bringing it all together.

After the Gabriel storm, the property was heavily damaged and flagged for major remedial work. We came in alongside another crew, then took over and drove it through to completion.

A serious amount of work went into bringing this one back:
A large retaining wall to support the neighbour’s driveway, new fencing, full exterior repaint, front door retrofit, astro turf, and a full internal push to get everything finished off properly.

Now sold — and a completely different property to what it once was.
