📢We're looking for an Admin Co-ordinator!

We're on the hunt for an experienced and organised person to join our team for 30-40 hours per week.

The role includes:
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Payroll
• Xero
• General office administration
• Health & Safety administration
• Keeping the office organised and running smoothly
• Assisting the directors and operations manager as required

We're looking for someone who:
• Has administration experience
• Is confident with accounts and payroll
• Has a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• Is organised, reliable and detail-focused
• Has a great attitude and enjoys being part of a team

Construction industry experience would be a real advantage.🔨

It is not often you see this! We are incredibly proud to have three generations of builders working together under one roof at Te Ara Whaikainga. 😎

Together, Richard, Joshua, and Kareia Woodman bring a massive 72 years of building experience to our projects. That is definitely something to cheer about! 🎉

🔨 Richard (Senior Builder): With 45 years in the trade, Richard brings unmatched master craftsmanship to our finishing touches—happily leaving the heaviest lifting to the younger generation!
🛠️ Josh (Lead Builder): With 23 years of experience, Josh works alongside our site manager to lead our teams and mentor our upcoming builders.
📐 Kareia (Apprentice): Now in his 4th year in construction and 2nd year of his apprenticeship, Kareia has the unique privilege of learning the craft directly from his Dad and his Koro.

Born and bred right here in Kaikohe, the Woodman men represent the heart of our community. We are incredibly blessed to have them on our team! 🙌

Last week we were part of an open day for the Bissett Road Development. What a massive turn out!!

Thank you to Gemscott and Te Hau Ora O Ngāpuhi for pulling us all in together and providing a space for those that are actively looking for an opportunity for mahi to meet and greet with the main contractors.

If you were fortunate enough to secure some mahi as a result of the open day, congratulations! If you are still searching, don't give up, the right opportunity will come along at the right time.

Tip of the day 🤓

We get it. You're excited about having your own home transported to your site ready to move in. You've mapped out where it will go, sorted out the orientation to maximize the views and the sun and in your excitement you overlooked an important factor...........maneuverability.

Before you commit to your transportable home, do your due diligence and check important things like the width of your driveway and power lines etc.

The Bisset Road development is happening!! Earthworks are coming along nicely and we are on track to deliver 100 much needed homes for Kaikohe.

We are honored to be partnered with Te Hau Ora O Ngāpuhi , PanelLock Homes and Gemscott to help with this mammoth task.

On Friday we met with other contractors that are also ready to put their hands to the plow and get this development done on time, within budget and of a high standard, followed with a site tour to see how the site is looking. Earthworx Civil Contstruction are doing an amazing job preparing for 100 homes!

Let's go Kaikohe!!
