It's not much to look at yet, but the profiles are up and the building lines are set out.
It's ready for the ground works to start and then it will be onto the concrete slab for the new three bedroom build.

Ground works done, foundation prepped and slab poured for this garage.
It always feels good to get the concrete in.

Finished the 120 meters of fencing with Calder Builders last week before the weather packed it in.
Now its ready for some new housing later in the year.

The exterior is starting to take shape.

The cladding being installed is Innova Duragroove.
Using the adhesive and brad nail fixing option means the nail holes can be filled leaving a smooth clean look.
Entrance way and back wall to go and then time to move inside.

It hasn’t been the easiest job opening up this house with all the wind and rain lately. Managed to keep the weather out with the help of some big tarps.
The new windows are framed and in, building is wrapped back up, cavity system installed ready for inspection and then onto some cladding.

Worked with Calder Builders on this re-roof a couple months ago.

We had a small window of good weather so we opened it up, replaced 80% of the rafters, installed new purlins and upgraded the ceiling insulation.
There were a couple of frosty mornings and late nights. The rain came on the last night while we were packing up, it's amazing what you can get done in a few days when you have to.

During this renovation the kitchen received a much needed overhaul.
After a complete strip out we installed new insulation, wall and ceiling linings, double glazed aluminium joinery, flooring, kitchen units and appliances.
Thanks to James from Projekt Plumbing for piping out the bathroom, kitchen, laundry and upgrading from low pressure to an infinity unit.

The old aluminum windows and cladding were causing problems.

We replaced the cladding with James Hardie Axon panel and installed new double glazed joinery.
Keeping the weather out and the heat in is essential.

These windows had seen better days.
So out they came, with new double glazed aluminum windows taking their place.
Then a fresh coat of paint to the weatherboards and trim to keep it maintained and looking good.

Enjoyed giving this concrete patio a facelift, creating a new practical outdoor area.
The timber slat wall behind the bench seat provides some privacy, while the pool fencing keeps the pets and little ones in.

Another renovation well underway.
Complete strip out of the bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms.
Exterior walls insulated, relined and gib stopped ready for painting.

This job had a bit of everything, from new double glazed joinery, new cladding to a full kitchen upgrade.
This has created a more open plan kitchen and dining, with good access to their outdoor area.
