Sooty the black kp also got a cage a few weeks back.
A basic kit with a few extras went in . .man 4 doors make the job less of a yoga class and easier access.
This now means Jimmy can not only take 1000s of photos of you all racing he can now come join in the action and do some skids.

Another kp caged and out the door .

This one came in with most of the old cage cut out a new kit & rear turrets supplied so we had the fun job of putting it all together starting with the rear turrets and mounting rear shocks ,then the puzzle of getting x2 large seats in to a small car !! Then finally fitting the new cage and getting it all signed off and sorted with msnz.
A fair bit of fab work and time goes in to these racecars but they are worth it when they are full sideways spraying stones !!

A few more patches of rust cut out and sorted ,engine bay got a quick tidyup ,rear panel got a tidy up ,we found some cool wee 13" Dunlop wheels ,fresh front gaurd fitted shes good to go . I even polished a patch on the roof to show Jason how shinny it could be after he puts his elbow in to it !!

We dont just " focus " on old cars . .sometimes plastic cars get saved to . With a new headlight some repairs and a lick...

Wee bit of a tidy up in the usual places around the boot cut the rust and replace with new steel .

The front end needed a slight tweaking and the engine bag will get a good tidy up she should end up a nice wee runner you might even see it hooning the streets of blenheim.

Safe to say Hamish the 70 likes to dip his bum in the mud !! Some fresh steel some new added drain holes and a good internal seal up and of course some fire truck mipa red and Hamish is ready for more adventures.

Still some panels to be completed ,
The body has headed back to the workshop for assembly then sign writing
can't wait to see it sitting on the ground with the wheels tucked up under the gaurds .
