👷🏼‍♂️ Meet The Team – Ricky
Apprentice Builder

Ricky is a motivated and hardworking apprentice builder who’s passionate about learning all aspects of the trade. He enjoys the practical side of building and takes pride in seeing a project come together from the framing stage right through to completion.

His favourite part of the job is standing frames and being involved in the early stages of a build, where everything starts to come together. Ricky is always keen to learn, develop his skills, and take pride in producing quality work on site.

Outside of work, Ricky enjoys hunting, fishing, and making the most of the outdoors.

Coull Builders Ltd is a small, family-owned building company based in Ōtorohanga, known for its strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and personalised service. They provide building services across Ōtorohanga, Te Kuiti, Te Awamutu, and the wider King Country area. They are a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) and members of the New Zealand Certified Builders Association (NZCB).

The team takes pride in every project they undertake, whether large or small, from new builds through to renovations. Their focus is on delivering high-quality results that clients can trust and enjoy for years to come. Services include new home builds, renovations, and house and land packages.

Established in 2017 by Dylan and Jemma Coull, the business is grounded in the values of hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for the building trade. Dylan began his apprenticeship at just 18 years old with a clear goal of one day running his own company. That ambition has grown into a trusted local business, built not only on quality workmanship but also on strong, lasting client relationships.

Coull Builders is looking for a Qualified Builder to join our team.

We’re after someone who takes pride in their work, shows up with a good attitude, and enjoys being part of a solid team that backs each other on site.

We do a mix of new builds and renovations across the Ōtorohanga and wider King Country area, with plenty of variety in the work.

You’ll be working alongside a small, energetic team that values quality workmanship, good communication, and getting the job done right the first time.

We’re looking for someone reliable, motivated, and happy to get stuck in — someone who cares about the finished result as much as we do.
