It never ceases to amaze me.
We get hammered constantly by people who think we are taking the p**s when it comes to battery pricing.
But But But - this one is a few hundy less Mr Nz Lithium - your ripping people off - blah blah blah - These folks cant seem to do basic math's - TCO.
If you think what is inside a box is the same as the next, your sorely mistaken.
So when you decide to go out and spend your hard earned - have a think about why nobody else in NZ is confident enough to display the work that's going on inside the box - These pictures tell you why.
The price of LFP cells has skyrocketed since the beginning of 2026 - In order to maintain the quality of the product we offer, our prices will need to increase soon too.
The only way to reduce the cost is to reduce the quality of the components going in (A- B - Re-purposed cells) - and improve efficiency - efficiency will only get a company so far though.
Our component cost is only rising, due to the no short-cut approach we operate with.
Our current sale on the 280XC does not indicate falling prices or wavering quality, it is no longer a popular model since the 314 and 345 became available in the same form factor, And We would rather make losses on a product then let it sit around.
We could slap a box of s**t together like these, sell it for less, put a ridiculous warranty term on it to draw people in and trap them - We spend a lot of money on what's inside the box to provide a better product for you - The components cost more - the time it takes to build it costs more - the time it takes to actually individually cycle test each pack costs - and honestly we don't charge what its worth by a long shot.
