Want a career in one of the most high paying and sought after trades? This is where it starts!

Williams drainage and civil is a family owned business based in Pukekohe, Franklin. Due to an increasing workload we are in need of a general labourer/trainee to assist in our drainlaying teams.

This is an entry level job, where you learn hands on the basics of laying pipe, with the potential of moving into a drainlayer role. Duties include driving the tractor, mixing concrete and general assistance to the drainlayer. There is some manual labour involved, therefore the applicant must be physically fit. This role could suit a school leaver or someone who has just started in the workforce where we can train to suit our industry.

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:

• Be punctual and have good work attendance

• Be able to follow instructions

• Be a quick learner and have good initiative

• Be physical fit

• Have good work ethic and not afraid of hard
work *Drug free is a must *Must be able to work well in a team environment

You must be able to provide your own transport and need to hold a restricted drivers licence as a minimum. You must be able to get to and from the worksites which will vary as we move from job to job.

Uniform and work boots all supplied by the company.

Progression within the company and/or a Drain laying apprenticeship may be offered to the right candidate, along with ongoing training.

Starting rate to be discussed.

Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
