Not every student will see university as the right path for them - and that is completely okay.
Some will. Some wonโt. What matters is that young people are shown the full range of opportunities available to them.
That is one of the things our industry is fortunate to offer.
From general operatives and apprentices, through to supervisors, project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, health and safety specialists, finance roles and more, civil construction creates pathways for people with a wide range of strengths, interests and ambitions.
Last Thursday, we attended ๐๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ'๐ annual Trades Morning, connecting with students who are beginning to explore what their future could look like.
We spoke about what apprenticeships in our industry involve, the career progression pathways available, the training we support, and the culture we work hard to cultivate.
Really proud to support initiatives that increase visibility of the opportunities within civil construction, helping more young people see that there is more than one pathway to a successful career.
