On the Move 🚧
Yesterday we took this portable building for a ride on the back of our Hi-Ab.

On this latest job for Ventia, we found that the steel piles had twisted while being hammered in years ago. That twist created massive extra friction, making this a much tougher pull. To break that suction and bring them up, we put a vibro hammer to work alongside our 70-ton Grove crane. Between the high-frequency vibration to loosen the ground and the heavy vertical power of the Grove, we were able to overcome the resistance that had these piles locked in tight.

Did you know that between 44% and 47% of what you pay for fuel goes straight to the Government in tax? 🇳🇿
The math:
🔹 When fuel was $1.70, the Govt took about 74c per litre.
🔹 At today’s price of $3.39, they are taking roughly $1.49 per litre!
As the price goes up, the TAX they rake in goes up too. While we struggle to fill the tank, the Govt is getting a massive "pay rise" at our expense. 📈💸
