What a year 2025 was!

After spending a year off the tools recovering from back surgery, getting Clough Carpentry up and running has meant more to me than I can put into words. Being back on the tools, doing what I love, and building for great clients has been a massive milestone.

Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their homes, recommended me to a mate or supported the business along the way, it genuinely means everything to us!

Here’s a bathroom we recently completed! 🔨

The client wanted to make the most of a small space, so we transformed their vision into reality with a new 900×1200 shower, a new bath, and kept the existing vanity to retain some character.

When we lifted the old cork flooring, we found it wasn’t up to standard and the subfloor needed repairs. We re-levelled the floor and installed treated ply to ensure strength and longevity.

With this being their only bathroom, we pushed hard to meet a strict timeline - fully functional again in just 7 days.

🔨 Bathroom Renovation🚿

This renovation features a spacious 1m x 1.4m low-profile slate shower tray with a chrome framed glass shower, a sleek wall-hung vanity and linen tower and seamless microcement flooring. Also all plumbing fixtures have been upgraded to a modern new gun metal grey colour!

Along the way, we discovered a small toilet leak that had been continuios for quite some time, so we replaced the rotten and mouldy flooring with new H3 treated ply flooring and re-leveled the joists to make sure it’s built to last.

Now it’s modern, functional, and ready to enjoy for many years to come!

Kwila steps to finish off the week! 😅

The client wanted new steps leading off the lounge into the patio area. We provided a safer option than the pallet steps that were temporarily put in place! The nice new kwila compliments the new french doors nicely!
