Just completed this bathroom makeover on a property in Beach Haven. The clients had a water pipe burst at the end of last year meaning to repair the bathroom properly meant a full redo. Luckily for the clients it was ready for a makeover and thanks to a chunk of cost being covered by insurance has meant they have now got a beautiful light and contemporary space. The owners did a great job of choosing their fittings and fixtures and having them all ready for us which helped the job flow smoothly making my job and the subbies jobs super easy.

Another bit of return business which is always appreciated. And another deck. This one we added a lower level platform and a couple of stairs leading to a (yet to be) landscaped area which will add a really cool outdoor space for the young family to enjoy the home we renovated last year even more.

Little deck rejuvenation job we did a month ago. Main deck area was kept the same shape but replaced with kwila decking. We added a boardwalk linking up to stairs we built last year which went where pavers had been previously giving a better flow.

Been a little while since our last post. This year has been full of smaller jobs and a handful of of insurance jobs from the rain and flooding. This was a cool little garage conversion turning a small garage into a nice sized bedroom with great storage. Adding a new window and ranch slider it’s a beautiful sun filled room and adds great value to what was a two bedroom home. We also removed a window and installed a new front door to change the access from entering into the living space to a proper entry which then leads you up the hallway. One of many enjoyable small projects we have ticked off and recently passed final inspection with flying colours.

Been a wee while between posts but here’s some photos the takapuna Reno we started at the beginning of the year. It’s an awesome little home for a young family and has finished up beautifully. Just some landscaping to come but the clients are in and enjoying their new space leading into summer.

What an awesome night on Friday night attending the Registered Master Builders House of the year awards with for a project done together a while back. Picking up a gold award, and becoming the category winner was pretty bloody special not to mention picking up an award for the kitchen which mike and the boys installed. It’s a stunning traditional looking home and us and are very proud to have done this together. Big thanks to everyone that was involved in making it the home that it is.

Demolition week! Roof tiles lifted last week and this week was started with pulling the old structure down. The boys did well in two days dropping everything to floor level. Finished the week off with leveling the old subfloor and replacing some piles and laying some new flooring to the extension. New framing to start in the next week.
