🔧 We’re on the hunt for another set of hands.

JB Servicing & Repairs is growing, and we’re looking for someone to join the team based in Otautau, servicing Western Southland.

We cover a wide range of work including:
• Line boring
• General engineering & fabrication
• Heavy machinery repairs
• On-site and workshop jobs

No two days are the same, one day you could be in the workshop, the next out on-site sorting gear in the field.

Experience is great, but attitude is everything. If you’re keen to learn, take pride in your work, and aren’t afraid to get stuck in, we want to hear from you.

Good crew, solid variety of work, and plenty of opportunity to grow.

🚜 Another one back in spec.

This John Deere front axle had seen a fair bit of work over the years, with the pivot housings well and truly flogged out.

Not anymore 👍

✅ Line bored back true
✅ Re-sleeved
✅ Set up to suit factory bushes and pins again

Good as new and ready to get back out in the paddock where it belongs.

Got a tractor or machine getting a bit sloppy in the joints?

Nothing like a bit of blue light in the workshop right team 👀💡

This 30-tonne quick hitch was in for weld repairs and line boring, all set up for a new pin kit and ready to head back to work.
Good to see it tightened up and running as it should again.

Nearly had the lathe at full stretch on this one 😅

This 1.82m rotor spike shaft came in with a worn end so we,

✔️ Built it up
✔️Machined it back to size
✔️Got it ready to run again

Always satisfying saving a part that still has plenty of life left and getting it back out on the jobs👌🏽

Handy bit of kit through the shed this week 🔧

We fabricated a 3-point linkage to Euro hitch adapter, set up to run forks and soft hands off the back of the tractor.
Makes shifting gear that much easier and keeps things moving around the yard.

Always good turning out practical setups like this 💪

Built to handle the tougher work 💪

We fitted a new cutting edge and Hardox floor to this cleaning bucket, then added a bolt on edge protector ready for effluent pond clean outs and the wear that comes with it.
All set up and ready to get back on the machine and into it✔️

Always good seeing gear leave the workshop ready for plenty more hours ahead.

A tidy little custom job through the workshop 🔧

We fabricated a set of custom sidesteps for a clients new ute, built to suit and ready for plenty of use on and off farm.
Nothing over the top, just solid, practical fabrication that’ll last.

Nothing light about this one 😅

We had a 30 tonne digger in needing a new grapple hanger built to suit an Ensign grapple

Solid build, lined up right, and made to handle the workload it’s heading into.

All fitted up and ready to get stuck into it again 💪🏽

This heavy-duty trailer came in needing a birthday, so we got to work⚒️

✔️Re-pinned
✔️Finished off with a full paint refurb

All tightened up and ready to head back out and earn its keep.
