Always great to see our customers machines just quietly working away!

Owen and Jo of Viewfield Farms invested in a B***o Grande for their peony operation, and we automated their sprayer with GOtrack E-Spray technology to manage application and provide automated section control, making their crop spraying totally autonomous.

Eliminating the labour input to a regular task like spraying makes a real difference, especially when the B***o Grande works all day on less than $10 of power!

Not many weeks go by without another use case for the incredibly versatile B***o autonomous mobile robot presenting itself.

This week we were invited to attend the Fleet Horticulture Tech Showcase in Hawkes Bay together with Bounce Fruit Limited and Metalform Ltd, demonstrating their collaborative innovation to spray a reflective paint onto the grass under fruit trees as an alternative to the expensive and highly labour intensive process of rolling out reflective matting to aid colour development.

The B***o Grande is the perfect machine for this task as it operates completely autonomously, can run all day or night at the precise speed required for correct application and has an operational costs of under NZ$15 per day.

Like a good Swiss army knife...the B***o Robotics Grande is the heart of a truly multifunctional system of smart tools that not only offer huge savings in operator time but also offer a raft of other advantages including operating cost and efficiencies.

For example, the combination of B***o Grande and the Weed-it Green on Brown selective spraying can reduce herbicide usage by 80%.

Great week joining with our Australian colleagues showcasing our equipment at WineTech expo in Adelaide.

With economic pressure in the wine industry globally and certainly in the AU and NZ markets, there's a new focus on reducing waste and labour costs via automation.

Fantastic industry engagement and feedback on our range of equipment, especially the modular approach using the B***o Robotics Grande and pairing this with electric solutions including a trailed crop sprayer, mower, smart herbicide applicator and UV-C system. It certainly stacks up very favorably against a large format robot for $400k that can only spray.

GoTrack Autodrive systems continue to roll out over here as well. Again, utilizing existing investment in tractors and equipment and adding autonomous smarts just makes sense, especially when you can step back in and drive the tractor normally for a one-off task. All for about 1/4 of the price of a standalone large format robot.
