The Kāinga Ora N9 & N10 development is a large-scale residential project delivering modern, healthy homes designed to support long-term community living.
Our HVAC scope included the coordination and installation of fresh air ventilation, extract systems, heat recovery ventilation, and individual heat pump systems for each apartment.
Working within a complex multi-residential environment, the project required careful planning and coordination to achieve efficient installation outcomes while maintaining programme delivery across multiple stages of construction. Close collaboration with contractors and other trades enabled services to be integrated effectively within restricted ceiling spaces and challenging service routes.
The fresh air and extract systems were installed to provide reliable ventilation and effective moisture management throughout the apartments, supporting healthy indoor environments for residents. Heat recovery ventilation systems were incorporated to improve energy efficiency by recovering heat from exhaust air while maintaining a consistent supply of fresh air.
Individual heat pumps were installed in each apartment to provide efficient year-round heating and cooling, delivering occupant comfort alongside low operating costs and straightforward long-term maintenance.
Delivered across a large-scale multi-residential development, the HVAC works at Kāinga Ora N9 & N10 reflect a strong focus on coordinated installation, efficient delivery, and build quality. Emphasis was placed on system reliability and long-term operational performance to support both residents and asset owners.
