Twin Garage Project - Mount Victoria

We love a project that’s a little out of the ordinary — and these twin garages, carefully carved into the hillside beneath a beautiful heritage home, definitely fit the bill.

Introduced early in the project through a mutual contact, we worked alongside the homeowners and designers to help reduce build costs and provide practical insight into material selection and availability.

We’ve now completed the dig-out, retaining, and concrete stages alongside the Sierra Delta Civil Crew and have moved into the cavity and cladding phase. Looking forward to pushing ahead and restoring full access for the homeowners.

RENOVATION Totara Park 🔎

The original home was disjointed, dark and cold – built in the 1970’s it was in desperate need of an upgrade. Working alongside the family and our design & construction partners, we transformed it into a warm, light-filled space designed for modern family living.

With twins due at the project’s predicted completion date, the timeline was tight. Add an exceptionally wet winter season and a full roof replacement and reclad, and the pressure was on. Our team pushed through – even re-roofing during thunderstorms – to get this project delivered.

The brief was to maintain the existing footprint while opening up the living spaces, improving warmth and efficiency, and most importantly bringing in the light! 🌞

The family worked with Shannon of who helped bring this vision to life. Smart window placement elevates the design while maintaining a strong connection to the backyard – essential for a young, active family. Open-plan living spaces create the flow and connectivity throughout the home that the family were so desperately looking for.

This was a family home for our clients, and it has led to an ongoing professional relationship.
