We are looking to increase our team of gib fixers in Auckland & Wellington area.
We install the plasterboard at new residential buildings big and small.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:
* Good, positive attitude to learn, with an eye for detail.

* Take pride in their work to pass on good quality to the next trade.

* Steel cap work boots and a way to get themselves to work.

The position involves a lot of lifting so would suit someone young and fit
While experience is a plus, it is not necessary as training will be provided.

Starting rate will depend on experience and quality of work.

We are seeking applicants for the role of a Carpenter or Experienced Hammerhand

Main tasks:

Wellington - Commercial Renovations - This candidate would need to have experience in internal fit out and be able to work unsupervised. Some of the work is in Wellington which would require working away from home for 5-8 days at a time but mostly working in Auckland.
Long term projects.

Need to have:

practical skills
knowledge of basic building and construction methods and terms
knowledge of worksite safety rules
knowledge of correct lifting techniques.
Applicants Must:

Be flexible with work hours, if needed (might work during weekends)
Must be willing to undergo occasional drug test while employed
Have a valid driver’s license
Have NZ residency, citizenship or valid NZ work visa
Successful applicant will be required to work in different locations: Auckland and Wellington Regions

This is a role for the great outdoors man... We are looking for a Foreman and experienced carptenters.

Leading a team of 25 hammer-hands and laborers.

It is a rain or shine job, however if conditions are unpleasant or unsafe you will be deployed to other work. Ideally our candidate will be able to travel to the job 8 days on and 4 days off with a roster system.

Someone who is prepared to dig foundations for posts if necessary but can also put in bearers, joists, deck tops and can learn box steps, stairs, handrails. Reasonable math skills - angles etc. There would be a possibly a 1 hour Hike down everyday part of this Bush construction work. There will be a team of 25 staff working on this project.

Must come with Site Safe
Own reliable transport
Physically fit
Health and safety conscious
Reliable & Punctual

Looking for 2 Carpenters to join a team on a project currently in progress for the next two months or so. Accommodation and food provided.

Must be experienced, willing to work hard and be physically fit.

Rates based on experience.

APPLICANTS MUST:

Be proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools and have good knowledge or general carpentry work.
Have minimum 1-2 years experience as a Carpenter
Must be willing to undergo occasional drug test while employed
Be flexible with work hours, if needed
Have reliable transport
Have NZ residency, citizenship or valid NZ work visa
Definite opportunity to work full time for us as we have projects in various locations around NZ.
