We Are Hiring: Field Services Engineers (Downhole Activities – RRP)

1. Each Field Services Engineer shall have, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in engineering science or an equivalent engineering technology qualification (preferably in petroleum, electrical, or mechanical engineering), along with relevant RRP equipment and RRP work training for both standard and harsh environment applications. Individuals who have gained an equivalent level of competency through proven relevant work experience may also be considered.

2. Each Field Services Engineer shall have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in oilfield downhole equipment applications, RRP work, and RRP equipment.

3. Field Services Engineer’s primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

a. Providing effective and comprehensive support, including performing installation, commissioning, surveillance, and troubleshooting activities. This shall include supervising/advising on spot checks, as requested by the Company, for installing RRP equipment (including but not limited to rod strings, installation, making-up, etc.).

b. Monitoring RRP work, as well as the day-to-day operations of RRP systems and RRP equipment.

c. Performing installation, commissioning, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of RRP systems and equipment (including but not limited to RPC controls), while ensuring updates to the relevant database systems with accurate information.

d. Collecting data, including acoustic liquid level measurements, and testing RRP systems in accordance with contract requirements and manufacturer recommendations.

e. Liaising with relevant Company personnel to plan, install, and/or perform pulling out of hole operations for RRP equipment.

f. Ensuring the readiness of well sites for the installation of surface equipment (e.g., trenching for surface cables, proper location, and orientation of foundations, etc.).

1. Each Field Services Engineer shall have, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in engineering science or an equivalent engineering technology qualification (preferably in petroleum, electrical, or mechanical engineering), along with relevant RRP equipment and RRP work training for both standard and harsh environment applications. Individuals who have gained an equivalent level of competency through proven relevant work experience may also be considered.

2. Each Field Services Engineer shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in oilfield electrical and/or mechanical engineering applications, RRP work, RRP equipment, VSD controllers, conventional RRP surface units, and Long Stroke Units (LSUs).

3. Field Services Engineer’s primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

a. Providing effective and comprehensive support, including performing installation, commissioning, surveillance, and troubleshooting of VSDs and RPCs.

b. Monitoring RRP work, as well as the day-to-day operations of RRP systems and RRP equipment.

c. Performing installation, commissioning, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of RRP systems and equipment (including but not limited to RPC controls), while ensuring timely updates to the relevant database systems.

d. Collecting data, including acoustic liquid level measurements, and testing RRP systems in accordance with contract requirements and manufacturer recommendations.

e. Liaising with relevant Company personnel to plan and execute the installation of RRP equipment.

f. Ensuring the readiness of well sites for the installation of surface equipment (e.g., trenching for surface cables, proper location, and orientation of foundations, etc.).

We Are Hiring: Field Base Manager (RRP Operations)

🎓 Qualifications & Educational Requirements
Field base managers shall have, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in engineering science or equivalent engineering technology qualification (preferring petroleum, electrical or mechanical engineering) as well as RRP equipment and RRP work relevant training (for both standard and harsh environment applications).

🧠 Experience Requirements
Field base manager shall have a minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in RRP equipment, RRP work, managing workshops, inventory management, oilfield electrical and/or mechanical engineering applications and well intervention activities, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in similar position.

⚙️ Roles & Responsibilities
Field base manager’s primary responsibility shall include but not limited to the following:

(i) Supervising and coordinating the performance of all RRP Work at Well Sites and Facilities.

(ii) Coordinating interfaces with Contractor’s manager and application engineers, Company’s Site representative or Unit Site representative (if Company’s Site representative is unavailable at Well Site) as well as Company’s operations team and Capital Area offices team to ensure safe and smooth RRP Work performance.

(iii) Coordinating the performance of RRP Work in accordance with approved design (e.g. managing crews, Call-Offs and logistics, installing and pulling out of hole operations…etc.).

🛠️ Technical & Operational Responsibilities
Following and discussing all operations and HSE related issues with Company’s relevant teams.
Providing business solutions to all RRP Work, technical challenges and issues including but not limited to quality and integrity of RRP Systems and RRP Equipment.
Following up Schedules update, providing detailed failure statistics and analyses as well as ensuring the availability of all resources (e.g. RRP Systems, RRP Equipment, Contractor Personnel, …etc.).
Investigating HSE and operational incidents.
Providing input to maintenance strategies and future planning.

📋 Compliance, Audits & Meetings
(iv) Participating in audits.
Participating in HSE monthly meeting that is held at Interior.
