We Are Hiring: Field Services Engineers (Downhole Activities – RRP)
1. Each Field Services Engineer shall have, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in engineering science or an equivalent engineering technology qualification (preferably in petroleum, electrical, or mechanical engineering), along with relevant RRP equipment and RRP work training for both standard and harsh environment applications. Individuals who have gained an equivalent level of competency through proven relevant work experience may also be considered.
2. Each Field Services Engineer shall have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in oilfield downhole equipment applications, RRP work, and RRP equipment.
3. Field Services Engineer’s primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
a. Providing effective and comprehensive support, including performing installation, commissioning, surveillance, and troubleshooting activities. This shall include supervising/advising on spot checks, as requested by the Company, for installing RRP equipment (including but not limited to rod strings, installation, making-up, etc.).
b. Monitoring RRP work, as well as the day-to-day operations of RRP systems and RRP equipment.
c. Performing installation, commissioning, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of RRP systems and equipment (including but not limited to RPC controls), while ensuring updates to the relevant database systems with accurate information.
d. Collecting data, including acoustic liquid level measurements, and testing RRP systems in accordance with contract requirements and manufacturer recommendations.
e. Liaising with relevant Company personnel to plan, install, and/or perform pulling out of hole operations for RRP equipment.
f. Ensuring the readiness of well sites for the installation of surface equipment (e.g., trenching for surface cables, proper location, and orientation of foundations, etc.).
