Follow these steps to ensure a safe and compliant connection for your gas bottle:
1 Ensure the Gas Valve Is Closed
Before starting, make sure the gas bottle valve is fully closed.
2 Place the Gas Bottle Correctly
Set the bottle on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area, away from any heat sources.
3 Inspect the Hose
Do a visual check of the hose for any signs of damage such as cracks, dents, or bulges.
4 Attach Regulator and Hose
Use a compatible regulator and approved gas hose.
Screw the regulator onto the cylinder valve opening and ensure there is a tight, secure connection.
5 Tighten All Connections
Double-check that all connections are properly tightened.
6 Open the valve and check for leaks
Open the valve k**b on the gas cylinder slightly.
Using soapy water, check all connections for leaks (bubbles will form if any gas escapes).
7 Ignite appliance
Once leak-free, fully open the cylinder valve and ignite your appliance according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
