From July 7–9, 2026, participants from RAISE collaborating agencies across the Southern Tagalog Region will gather at Hostel Tropicana, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite to strengthen their knowledge and skills in patent mining, prior art analysis, and intellectual property management.

Conducted under the 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐩𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 (𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇) 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, this training aims to equip participants with the tools and strategies needed to identify valuable technological information from patent databases, support research and innovation, and promote technology commercialization within the agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources (AANR) sector.

Following the completion of the Market Study and Feasibility Study Training, the RAISE Program in Southern Tagalog continues its commitment to accelerating technology commercialization through the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 under the SOUTH Mentorship Series.

This three-day intensive workshop will guide participants through the essential components of business planning for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources (AANR) technologies, including:

✅ Management and Organizational Planning
✅ Financial Planning and Projections
✅ Mentoring, Workshops, and Output Critiquing

Designed for researchers, innovators, technology generators, and commercialization champions, this training aims to bridge the gap between research outputs and real-world impact.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have developed a comprehensive business plan that can serve as a roadmap for technology commercialization, enterprise creation, technology licensing, or spin-off development.
