Last March 30, 2026, Ibalong Resources and Development Corporation officially initiated the Cleaning and Removal of Blockages in both the outlet and inlet of the waterway at P4 Palanog, Camalig, Albay.

The creek was found to be obstructed by cut coconut trunks and various types of waste, which significantly hindered the natural flow of water. This blockage posed a serious risk of worsening conditions, including potential flooding and environmental damage.

Through this initiative, the team took action to restore the waterway, promote proper waste management, and help safeguard the community from possible hazards. This effort reflects a strong commitment to environmental protection and proactive community service.

Together, let us continue to care for our waterways and keep our surroundings clean and safe. 🌿 💧

Road Cleared, Community Connected! ✨ 🚜

Through the support of 𝗜𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗥𝗗𝗖) , a clearing operation and removal of accumulated soil were successfully conducted along the road leading to the chapel at Purok 2, Barangay Miti, Camalig, Albay last February 21, 2026.

This initiative helped improve road accessibility and ensured safer passage for residents and chapel-goers—a simple act with a big impact.

The 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗮𝘆 through the 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (PGA-ENRO), headed by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹, together with ENRO personnel, conducted a mine tour at 𝗜𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (IRDC) on January 14, 2026.

The activity provided an overview of IRDC’s mining operations, environmental management and safety practices, as well as its programs for environmental protection and community development. It also strengthened coordination between the Provincial Government and IRDC in promoting responsible and sustainable mining in the province.
