The regional tour continues with Vince and Shane, representing the University of San Carlos (USC)!
Taking a leap of faith from Cebu to Metro Manila, these two future engineering leaders share a profound perspective on what it means to push their boundaries.

For Vince, seeing the massive, urban landscape of Manila wasn’t just a change of scenery, it was a reminder to never limit their ambitions. True progress requires a bit of discomfort because, as he puts it, "Comfort is the enemy of growth."

Confronting the demanding challenges of this curriculum is no small feat. Your success today is a direct result of your hard work and persistence.

We also extend our highest commendations to one of our esteemed faculty members, Engr. Christine Marie Tecson REE, MSEE for successfully earning her Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree. We recognize her notable research work, titled "Development of an Automated GIS-Based Tool Using QGIS Graphical Modeler for Long-Term Solar Resource and Environmental Suitability Assessment to Support Local Solar Energy Planning: A Case Study in Albay Province."

To our new BS graduates and to Engr. Tecson, Thank you for inspiring the whole department with your hard work and dedication.

𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙨 💡

Following the seminar on March 13, 2026, students participated in the 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 at LB 383 TC, where they explored the practical side of electrical engineering. Through hands-on activities and guided instruction, participants experienced how electrical concepts work in real-life applications.

Moments like these show how learning becomes more meaningful when students get to experiment, collaborate, and build together! 🔌⚡

The sparks of curiosity were definitely alive in this workshop!

On March 13, 2026, the 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗖) 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 brought together students eager to learn about responsible energy use and the importance of electrical safety in our everyday lives.
