𝘣𝘺 𝘈𝘳. 𝘕𝘪𝘬𝘬𝘰 𝘋𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘻 𝘡𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘢

Located near San Pedro College and Gaisano Mall Bajada, Kofigram Café is shaped by a quiet Japandi sensibility drawn from one of the owner’s years in Japan. Guided by the Japanese principle of restraint and the use of mono materials, the interior embraces light oak as its primary expression, creating warmth through simplicity and clarity of form.

Soft pink marble accents and curated greenery introduce contrast and texture, balancing minimalism with comfort. The result is a calm and aesthetic space designed for long study sessions, casual afternoons with friends, or intimate dinners with family.

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗿. 𝗡𝗶𝗸𝗸𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘇 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮, 𝗨𝗔𝗣

Inspired by the Salakot, a traditional Filipino hat, and the Bahay Kubo, this pickleball club translates heritage into contemporary design. The sweeping roof echoes the hat’s form, while the wooden braces draw from the supporting straps and the window details of vernacular homes, creating a structure that feels both familiar and modern.

Designed as a premier indoor sports destination, the club brings together a fitness gym, a lobby and café, a training court, and multiple pickleball courts in a holistically integrated design. Light, space, and material come together to craft an environment where play, wellness, and architecture meet seamlessly, celebrating local culture while offering a distinctive identity for Davao.

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗿. 𝗡𝗶𝗸𝗸𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘇 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮, 𝗨𝗔𝗣

Inspired by the imagined city of Macondo from One Hundred Years of Solitude, this schematic proposal recalls the romance of Spanish architecture through arches, clay tiled roofs, and textured walls that gently cascade along the slopes of Davao City. Conceived as the city’s next premiere events destination, the vision embraces the site’s challenging terrain rather than resisting it.

Composed of a commercial building, two preparation villas, and a glass events center, the estate embraces the land rather than reshaping it. The result is a refined yet grounded vision for Davao’s next premiere events place.
