𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝟮.𝟬: 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝘀 & 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 ⚡🤖

From the outside in! After a high-energy start, Day 2 at Saint Luke’s Academy took our 16 young innovators even deeper into the "brain" of the machine. 🧠✨

On April 18, we returned to Saint Luke’s Academy to see our 16 young innovators take the ultimate leap. This time, we didn't just look at the robots, we looked inside them. Using the Ultimate Kit 2.0, the students went out of the box to figure out what actually makes a machine tick, moving past the plastic and metal to understand the "heartbeat" of the hardware.

The real magic happened when we introduced Machine Learning. Watching these kids use Block-based coding to teach their robots how to think and react was a glimpse into the future we are trying to build. There’s a special kind of confidence that grows when a student realizes they aren't just playing a game, they are putting together the rules for the machines of tomorrow.

Thank you to our 16 innovators at Saint Luke's for helping us write the next chapter of the Philippine tech story, and the Volunteers. Together, we’re building the future, "Bit by Bit!"

𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝟮.𝟭: 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝘀 & 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 ⚡🤖

Innovation isn’t just a moment; it’s a movement. Last April 17, the classroom of Saint Luke’s Academy was electrified as 31 young visionaries stepped into the world of high-tech exploration.

What began as a room full of curious students evolved into a hub of digital architects. Over two intensive days, this is them learning Artificial Intelligence. By bridging the gap between BBC micro:bits and TPBots on the outside, they successfully translated complex logic into physical reality.

A massive thank you to our 31 pioneers for a fantastic Day 1. We’re building the future, "Bit by Bit!"

The gears have just started to turn and the spark of innovation is just getting started! Last April 14, we officially wrapped up Robotopia 2026 at WVSU-ILS, where the next generation of Ilonggo tech leaders moved beyond basic coding and into the world of Machine Learning.

Using the TPBots and AI Lenses, our students explored complex roadmaps, not just through hardware, but through data. By training AI models and mastering the BBC micro:bit, they turned "vision" into reality, proving that even the smallest processor can do big things when powered by curious minds. 🧠⚡️

🚀 ROBOTOPIA 2nd STOP: ANTIQUE! 🤖

The journey continues as Robotopia brings innovation beyond borders! For its second stop, Devcon Iloilo proudly presents Bits & Bots: A Tech Discovery Workshop—an exciting two-day immersion into the world of technology at St. Luke's Academy, Valderrama, Antique on April 17–18, 2025.

Designed for aspiring young innovators (Grades 7–11), this hands-on workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of machine learning, robotics, game development, and no-code app building. Through interactive sessions and guided activities, participants will gain real-world experience and discover how technology can shape their future.

At the core of the TPBot and AI Lens is the BBC micro:bit—the “mind” that processes data and brings each creation to life. Yet the true power lies in the students. Their creativity, logic, and curiosity provide the heart and purpose behind every innovation.

As we gear up for this new wave of innovation, DEVCON Iloilo would like to take a moment to look back and extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sui and DEVCON Kids.

Our journey to this moment was paved by the incredible support we received during the Hour of AI 2025. We are still immensely grateful to Sui and DEVCON Kids for providing the cutting-edge tools that changed the game for our students:

In 2025, Tech For All reached farther— delivering our highest number of programs, empowering 4.8K+ participants, mobilizing 270+ active volunteers, training 150+ technical mentors, raising ₱800K+ in funding, and collaborating with 75 partners.

Together, we amplified youth-driven innovations and used technology to address real challenges in our communities. Our participants came from diverse ages, professions, and socio-economic backgrounds, showing the accessibility, equity, and inclusivity we advocate.

And the impact goes beyond numbers:
- 80% experienced significant to transformational learning
- 100% gained the confidence to pursue opportunities in technology
- 82% discovered a stronger interest in tech-driven careers and projects
- 76% of kids found inspiration to explore computer science

The voices and testimonials of our participants tell stories of confidence discovered, skills unlocked, and tech access for everyone across Iloilo and Western Visayas.
