MIAP Iloilo at the Forefront of TVET Innovation! 🇵🇭✨

It was a historic day for technical education in the region! ✨

MIAP Iloilo President, Engr. Bonnie D. Degala, PME, MMBM, was honored to participate in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Regional TVET Innovation Center (RTIC) in Iloilo City, led by TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez. ✨

As an industry partner, MIAP Iloilo joined the "Symbolic Turning of the Soil," marking the start of a premier hub focused on cutting-edge innovation in welding, steel fabrication, and farm mechanization—sectors at the very heart of our association. ✨

We extend our deepest gratitude to TESDA, to the Acting Regional Director for TESDA VI, Dr. Esther B. Babalo and to the Acting Chief of the TESD Specialist/Training Center Administrator, Donnabelle F. Sollesta of RTC-Iloilo for the invitation to deliver a message of support. ✨

📣 MIAP Iloilo at the 2025 Year-End PMSMED Council Meeting

MIAP Iloilo, represented by our Chapter President, attended the Provincial Micro-Small-Medium-Entrepreneurs Development (PMSMED) Council Year-End Meeting together with key stakeholders from DTI, DOST, SEC, DOLE, the City and Provincial Governments, and various MSMEs, enterprises, and industry associations.

The council discussed updates, challenges, and collaborative opportunities to further strengthen the MSME ecosystem in Iloilo Province.

As part of the metalworking and engineering community, MIAP Iloilo continues to support programs that empower local industries, drive innovation, and build meaningful partnerships across government and private sectors.
