The idea of a collaborative platform with aims at building linkages and networks for small businesses/entrepreneurs in the construction industry locally came out from my understanding for these small businesses to survive even at a level of sustsinability. They are craftsmen before that have the guts to go on business with limited capital. I admired their intrepid spirit, but few can withstand the point of uncertainty. It's per project basis, and for small shops, just waiting for proverbial customers to notice you in the side streets. Market is localized and years are needed to have a loyal market based. Their workers/employees was caught in a situation where we can called them "sacadas" or seasonal workers. So in this situation small business can't really keep their skilled craftsmen whenever projects comes along. This is were this idea started. Still the main philosophy, advocacy and ethical standards of this collaboration must be properly weave into each of everyone to embrace to strengthen the end goal of collaborative partnership. It should imbued honesty and respect with bond of friendship develop. It must be fun too. There were various developmental ideas in the drawing board now and feasible at my initial assessment. We would invite later on small SMEs to join the group and sell the idea to the funding group to start it moving. It's a calibrated design. Organise small to do big projects😁. Win Win ? It had to be.
