- Fabricates, alters, repairs, and maintains walls, sidewalks, street curbs, floors, bathroom showers, sink counters, partitions, manholes, and other related structures or surfaces.
- Lays blocks or bricks following blueprints, plans, or drawings.
- Lays out work using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, squares, and levels.
- Determines work requirements and sequence of masonry/tile assignments through review of work orders, plans, or drawings.
- Cuts or breaks bricks and concrete using hammers, powered abrasive saws, paving breakers, drills, and/or hand tools.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Electrician, you will be responsible in ensuring that all electrical systems installed and/or maintained by the company are in excellent working condition. This role is also expected to perform the following key responsibilities:
• Inspect electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Identify faults and hazards.
• Troubleshoot system failures.
• Conduct maintenance repairs on old or faulty fixtures.
• Provide suggestions for equipment replacement.
• Write electrical maintenance reports when required.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Repair equipment, machines, or structures as necessary.
• Layout and install new electrical wiring system.
• Adhere to safety and performance standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience as an Electrician.
• Ability to understand and follow electrical plans.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the national electrical code.
• Flexibility in responding to a range of different work situations and processes.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Electrician certification/ license is an advantage.

Prepare surfaces for tiling
Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using power and hand tools
Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels
Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise
Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results
Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly
Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles
Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs
