DISCONTINUANCE OF THE REQUIREMENT OF CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING (COGS) FROM THE ACCREDITED INTEGRATED PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION (AIPO) IN THE RENEWAL OF PROFESSIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (PIC)

"NOW, THEREFORE, in view of the foregoing and upon review of the relevant laws, the Commission RESOLVES to: (1) DISCONTINUE the requirement of the Certificate of Good Standing from the Accredited Integrated Professional Organization for the renewal of Professional Identification Cards, except for the three (3) professions whose Professional Regulatory Laws explicitly mandate its submission for this purpose; namely: Criminology, Interior Design, and Pharmacy."

The PSIM Strategic Planning Session for the Year 2026 was successfully conducted through the unified efforts of the Ormoc, Isabel, Tacloban, and Southern Leyte Chapters, coming together as one Leyte Cluster.

This strategic gathering not only aligned our goals and directions for 2026, but more importantly, strengthened our comradery, trust, and collaboration as one professional community. The open exchange of ideas, shared experiences, and collective decision-making reinforced the bond among chapters and highlighted the value of unity in achieving our common objectives.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our Mentor Engr. Jerome Tuquib, DVP Engr. Joesher Aclao, and all Chapter Presidents of Leyte cluster, officers and members whose active participation and commitment made the session meaningful and productive. The spirit of teamwork and mutual support demonstrated throughout the planning session reflects the true strength of PSIM.

As we move forward, may the plans crafted and the relationships strengthened during this session guide the Leyte Cluster toward a more united, resilient, and successful year ahead.
