There are moments when it hits me—I’m always the one who remembers. I remember birthdays, special days, little things that matter. But when it’s my turn, it feels like I’m invisible… like I’m easily forgotten.

Sometimes I catch myself wondering… am I not friendly enough? Not important enough? Why do others get warm greetings, photos together, thoughtful messages, even simple surprises—while I’m left hoping for even just one?

It makes me question my worth. Maybe I’m not as valuable as I thought. Maybe I’m just someone who cares too much… someone who gives more than they receive. And in the quiet moments, a painful thought creeps in—that maybe, aside from my family, no one would really notice or feel it if I were gone.

But even with these thoughts, I try to hold on to gratitude. For the few people who do remember me, who do care, who do see me. Maybe this isn’t bitterness—maybe it’s just a realization… of where I stand in other people’s lives.
