PALECO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM SY 2026 - 2027
Scholarship grantees can enroll in any public school, college, or university within Palawan
WHO CAN APPLY?
*Children/Dependents of active member-consumer-owner (MCO) of PALECO (member for at least 1 year; guardianship is limited to grandparents, uncle/aunt or brother/sister of the applicant)
*Parents/Guardians should not have been apprehended for power pilferage.
*No relatives who are PALECO regular employees/officers within the 4th civil degree of consanguinity
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
•Incoming first year college student
•Single and not more than 20 years old
•Average grade of not lower than 85%
•Good moral character
DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:
•Application form (downloadable at www.paleco.net)
•Report card
•Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents/guardians (not exceeding Php140,000.00) or Indigent Certificate from Barangay
•Certification from the Principal that the applicant has good moral character
•Table of consanguinity (downloadable at www.paleco.net)
•PWD ID card (for differently-abled)
•Legal document proving that the applicant is a dependent of the MCO of PALECO (such as, but not limited to, Statement under Oath)
PRIVILEGES:
1. Full Scholars (with final grade of 86% or 2.00)
• Php 4,0000 books and miscellaneous allowance per semester
• Php 3,000 monthly allowance
• Two (2) sets of school uniforms for the first year 1st semester and one (1) for succeeding semesters
2. Partial Scholars (with final grade of 83% or 2.25)
• Php 2,500.00 books and miscellaneous allowance
• Php 2,000.00 monthly allowance
• One (1) set of uniform
DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS:
June 27, 2026 (5:00 PM)
QUALIFYING EXAM:
July 15, 2026
