PALECO's 44th Annual General Membership Assembly Registration Mechanics

1. Registration is open to all regular members of Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO).

2. Pre-registration shall run from April 20 to May 15 and may be completed through walk-in registration at the Principal Office and Area Offices in Aborlan, Narra, Quezon, Rizal, Brooke’s Point, Roxas, Taytay, San Vicente, El Nido, and Cuyo for those attending in person, or through online registration via the MCO Portal on the PALECO website (www.paleco.net) for those attending online.

3. Members are required to provide a valid ID during pre-registration. A proxy may pre-register a member, provided that the valid ID of the member is presented at the time of the pre-registration.

4. Members who opt to pre-register and attend online are required to provide a digital copy of their valid ID, register an email address, and take a selfie.

5. Registration on the day of the event, May 16, shall commence at 6:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the following locations: Provincial Government of Palawan (PGP) Convention Center, Narra Municipal Gymnasium, Brooke’s Point Events Center, Roxas Municipal Gymnasium and Palawan State University - Palawan College of Arts and Trades (PCAT) Cuyo Campus.

6. At exactly 3:00 PM, only those members lined up at the venues’ holding areas will be accepted for registration. The Crowd Control Committee shall determine the last member to be accepted for registration.

7. Only qualified members who attend in person shall be entitled to a cash incentive, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. If the available cash incentives are depleted, the remaining qualified members shall instead receive the incentive as additional paid-up share capital or through bill deduction. In-person attendees are also entitled to one (1) raffle ticket.

8. Qualified members who will attend online shall receive the incentive as additional paid-up share capital or through bill deduction and are not eligible for the raffle.

9. PALECO employees, officers and other cooperative committees are eligible for registration but shall not be entitled to any cash incentives or raffle participation.

10. Proxy attendance shall not be permitted on AGMA day under any circumstances.

Nais mo bang maging opisyal ng Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO)?

Magkakaroon ng halalan para sa ating Audit at Election Committee na gaganapin kasabay ng ating ika-44 na Taunang Pangkalahatang Pagpupulong sa May 16.

Tatlong miyembro ng Audit Committee at tatlong miyembro rin ng Election Committee ang ating ihahalal sa nasabing araw.

Maaaring tumakbo ang lahat ng mga kwalipikadong miyembro ng Kooperatiba mula sa buong franchise area nito.

Ang deadline ng filing ng Certificate of Candidacy (COC) ay sa May 6 sa ating Principal Office.

Upang makuha ang listahan ng documentary requirements at para sa iba pang mga katanungan, pumunta sa pinaka malapit na opisina ng PALECO o kaya nama'y mag-email sa [email protected].

PALECO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM SY 2026 - 2027
Scholarship grantees can enroll in any public school, college, or university within Palawan

WHO CAN APPLY?
*Children/Dependents of active member-consumer-owner (MCO) of PALECO (member for at least 1 year; guardianship is limited to grandparents, uncle/aunt or brother/sister of the applicant)
*Parents/Guardians should not have been apprehended for power pilferage.
*No relatives who are PALECO regular employees/officers within the 4th civil degree of consanguinity

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
•Incoming first year college student
•Single and not more than 20 years old
•Average grade of not lower than 85%
•Good moral character

DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:
•Application form (downloadable at www.paleco.net)
•Report card
•Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents/guardians (not exceeding Php140,000.00) or Indigent Certificate from Barangay
•Certification from the Principal that the applicant has good moral character
•Table of consanguinity (downloadable at www.paleco.net)
•PWD ID card (for differently-abled)
•Legal document proving that the applicant is a dependent of the MCO of PALECO (such as, but not limited to, Statement under Oath)

PRIVILEGES:
1. Full Scholars (with final grade of 86% or 2.00)
• Php 4,0000 books and miscellaneous allowance per semester
• Php 3,000 monthly allowance
• Two (2) sets of school uniforms for the first year 1st semester and one (1) for succeeding semesters
2. Partial Scholars (with final grade of 83% or 2.25)
• Php 2,500.00 books and miscellaneous allowance
• Php 2,000.00 monthly allowance
• One (1) set of uniform
