Yesterday I prioritized going to banks to report and change my registered number, lock online banking, then proceed to get police report. I still have some other bank accounts to change on Monday.
Good thing I left my Gmail and FB open on my desktop at home and was able to change the necessary security settings (passwords, change registered mobile number). I was able to reach out and inform everyone, although a little past 6PM. Apologies for making you wait for a few minutes.
Today I just finished procuring all the needed affidavit of loss for the devices and the SIM cards. I'm technically locked out of my accounts until I resolve it. I just want to prioritize getting back my numbers ASAP as most SocMed, and Microsoft accounts need the MFA (Multifactor Authentication).
Later I'll start trying to recover my remaining accounts starting with Microsoft Accounts and Twitch so I can start planning for the updated schedule.
Lost phone number is a really big hassle. Lesson learned, have a separate phone for comms, and another for MFA. Aside from being aware of surroundings, though I would prefer not to go outside for a few months. Napatawad ko na si Kuya, baka kelangan na kelangan nya. And malapit ko na rin mapatawad sarili ko for being an obvious target. I just need to learn a big lesson from it.
