The Palawan International Technology Business Incubator (PITBI), in partnership with DOST Palawan and DOST iHubs, successfully conducted a Pitching and Pitch Deck Mentoring Session for the participants of the HANDA MIMAROPA Competition.

Designed to help teams elevate their presentations, the mentoring session focused on crafting compelling startup stories, refining pitch decks, strengthening value propositions, and delivering confident, impactful pitches. Through one-on-one coaching and expert feedback, participants gained valuable insights to better communicate their innovations and stand out in the competition.

The competition seeks student-led innovations that apply science, technology, and innovation in addressing disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation challenges in MIMAROPA. Submissions should present practical, data-informed, and scalable solutions that strengthen community resilience and support climate-informed decision-making.

From all submitted entries, up to ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž (๐Ÿ“) ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ž per province will be selected to compete in their respective ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ. The top three provincial finalists will receive the following prizes:

At the regional finals, participants will present their innovations before a panel of experts from partner agencies and institutions. The regional prizes are:
