102 Filipino Engineers Receive International Professional Engineer Conferment
Quezon City, Philippines — A total of 102 Filipino engineers from various Engineering Professional Organizations (EPOs) has been formally conferred as International Professional Engineers during the International Professional Engineer Conferment Ceremony last May 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Claret School of Quezon City Auditorium.
The conferment marks a significant milestone in advancing the global recognition and mobility of Filipino engineering professionals. The awardees successfully met the stringent standards and qualifications required for international professional engineering recognition, demonstrating competence, ethical practice, and professional excellence aligned with global standards.
The 102 conferment recipients come from the following accredited Engineering Professional Organizations (EPOs):
• Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) – 17
• Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) – 6
• Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) – 35
• Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE) – 40
• Society of Manufacturing Engineers of the Philippines (SMEP) – 2
• Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) – 1
• Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers (PIChE) – 1
