The final application of PU Mortar Flooring System over the first layer of “scratch coat” of the same material (PU Mortar) is the best methodology.

As you can see in this video, the scratch alone gives a very good looking surface, making it like the final coat already. It closes the pores of the concrete more effectively, preventing pin holes to appear on the final coat.

But the most important reason is that: It gives the full compressive strength needed to protect the entire concrete floor.
