“Doing just one step at a time.” 🏡✨
Been so busy these past few months. Wala masyadong time mag-post about the progress of our project, but the work never stops because people need that work.
Here’s a glimpse of one of our projects—our first residential project, hopefully not the last. 🙏

Why am I encouraged to pursue this construction business?

Honestly, I want this because someone needs it. (Not being
hypocritical, bonus na lang ’yung may kita ka.) Lagi kong sinasabi, kailangan ng tao ng trabaho. It’s better to give them a job than pautangin sila. And that’s the reality.
In some way, they rely on you.
Hindi lang sila construction workers. They are the people behind those beautiful houses. Hindi para palakihin ang ulo nila, but to commend them for all the sacrifices they make.
Working para may pangbaon ang anak sa school. Working kasi may kailangang bayaran na microfinance. Bonus na lang kung may matira pa na sapat sa hapag-kainan.
Pero kahit pagod na maghapon, makukuha pa ring mag-inom. Maybe it’s their way of easing the tiredness they carry after a long day—or even a whole week—of hard work. Sino ba namang hindi mapapainom kung buong linggo kang nagpakapagod, pero pagdating ng sahuran, halos wala nang natira kasi nabale mo na agad noong Monday pa lang?
Thinking of it…
“Aba ay, may pang-inom pa. Hehe.”
Been in this kind of life during my childhood days.
But thank God, hindi sumuko ang aking mga magulang. Pinagsikapan nila akong mapag-aral, and by God's grace and because of them, I’m here today.
Lagi kong sinasabi sa mga workers ko,
“There’s life more than that.”
Hopefully, they get to know more about the Lord. One of our prayers is to start a weekly Bible study after every payroll.
