AboitizPower subsidiary Therma South, Inc. (TSI) signed its first-ever two-megawatt Emergency Power Supply Agreement with Misamis Occidental I Electric Cooperative, Inc (MOELCI-I), a partner of over ten years.

The agreement covers power supply for customers in Oroquieta City and in Misamis Occidental, strengthening access to reliable electricity amid the region’s evolving energy needs.

Preparing engineers for real-world plant operations is essential to helping maintain safe and reliable power systems.

At the AboitizPower-JERA Global Technical Center of Excellence, trainees undergo safety training, simulator exercises, and line tracing activities designed to strengthen operational discipline and technical readiness in real-world power generation environments.

Through exposure to actual facilities and control room environments, the program helps prepare engineers to support safe and reliable plant operations.
