POWER UPDATE: Misgar HPP Fully Restored

We are pleased to announce that the Misgar Hydro Power Plant is back in full operation.

Following a temporary shutdown caused by an earthquake-induced landslide that severely damaged the power channel, our dedicated technical teams worked around the clock to complete all necessary repairs safely and efficiently.

Power generation has fully resumed, and normal operations have been restored to the grid. We deeply appreciate the communityโ€™s patience and support during this brief downtime.

NPAK Energy is launching a new billing system that automatically reads consumption data from connected meters, integrates with the bank and an online payment platform, prints approximately 14,000 bills per month, and sends e-bills and payment confirmations to customers by SMS. Also, NPAK Energy launched new financial software and an ERP system. To operate all these systems, the IT/Billing System Administrator is responsible for administering, maintaining, securing, and optimizing the utility billing system to ensure accurate billing, reliable system performance, data integrity, and uninterrupted business operations.

Data & AMI Monitoring: Monitor daily and monthly automated meter reads from the AMI system to verify data completeness and accuracy.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Implement firewalls, access controls, antivirus tools, and system updates. Ensure full compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and data protection guidelines.

Hardware, Software & Asset Control: Install, configure, upgrade, and log all IT hardware, software licenses, and network assets while maintaining standard IT documentation and network diagrams.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Perform regular data backups, support disaster recovery planning, and ensure operational readiness.

User Support & Operations: Provide hands-on technical support for daily user issues, digital solution implementations, ICT equipment for company meetings/conferences, and assigned management tasks.

Bachelorโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Hands-on experience with technical integrations (APIs, banking/payment gateways, SMS gateways), data integrity, and user access control principles.

Proven track record in advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, and managing technical escalations directly with software vendors.

Communication Skills: Good written and spoken English and Urdu; proficiency in local languages is a plus.

Own the end-to-end billing cycle: meter-read intake, bill generation, and dispatch.

Manage the relationship and support contract with the billing software vendor.
Report billing and collection KPIs (billed vs. collected, SMS delivery rates, reconciliation status) to senior management.
Lead, develop, and coordinate the wider billing team across systems, meter data, payments, and customer operations.
Customer dispute resolution and complaint handling, metering technologies including AMI, PLC, AMR and prepaid metering.
Coordination with technical, commercial and customer service departments.
