We at SKIC are proud to announce the successful installation and commissioning of a 20 tph Biomass-Fired Steam Boiler at Kohinoor Textile Mills on 27th May 2025.

The achievement is even more special as Kohinoor hosted an inauguration event where our team joined to celebrate the opening of this sustainable energy system.

This project marks a major milestone in Pakistan’s textile sector, combining sustainability, performance, and cost savings:

• 33% lower fuel costs compared to conventional fuels
•100% capacity operation since installation, with consistent smooth performance ever since.
•Fuel flexibility: poultry waste, eucalyptus leaves, peanut husk, wheat straw, and cotton waste from spinning/weaving processes used as fuel.
•Contributing to reduced carbon footprint and greener production

Another Success Story from SKIC!

We are proud to partner with Al Abbas Fabrics in advancing green energy adoption in Pakistan’s textile sector.

Our third-generation biomass-fired steam boiler (Model DZW 10-1.25) has been operating smoothly at Site Area Karachi for the past 2 months , delivering outstanding results:

•Achieving 87% efficiency
•Utilising 120% capacity (12 tph peak load)
•Providing low-cost, reliable steam
•Significantly reducing CO₂ and NOx emissions

The system is a major contribution towards sustainability and environmental responsiblility from SKIC.

Furthermore it is a testament to SKIC’s expertise because the project involved complex installation challenges due to limited space — a task no other designer was willing to take on. But our team delivered with efficiency.

Our CEO recently visited the site, reviewed the operating parameters, and gathered valuable customer feedback — reaffirming SKIC’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

Wuxi Zozen Boilers Co., Ltd. has entrusted SKIC with exclusive distribution rights for Pakistan under a three-year agreement (From 2026 to 2028).
