Google is retiring the Chromebook brand after 15 years.
The replacement is called Googlebook — an AI-powered laptop platform where the cursor itself is driven by AI.
Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo are all building devices for the launch, expected in fall 2026.
One thing Google still hasn’t revealed: pricing.
