AoA. Following are the positions and relevant skills that are urgently required:
1. Cybersecurity Engineer (Security Engineer / InfoSec Engineer / SecOps Engineer)
Design and implement endpoint defenses. Build detection, response, and hardening strategies, integrating directly with cloud orchestration.
Requirements: 3–5 years in security engineering, hands-on with endpoint security, SIEM, IDS/IPS and scripting.

2. Cloud Deployment & Orchestration Engineer (Cloud Infra / DevOps / Platform Engineer)
Build and manage the multi-cloud orchestration platform - Own secure, scalable deployments and automation pipelines.
Requirements: 3–5 years in cloud DevOps, expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and secure multi-cloud design.

3. Offensive Security Engineer (Red Team / Pen Tester / Ethical Hacker)
Lead adversarial testing against endpoints and orchestration systems. Simulate attacks and system exploitation to validate defenses.
Requirements: 3–5 years in offensive security, red-team tools, MITRE ATT&CK Matrix.

4. UI/UX Design Engineer (Product Designer / UX Engineer / Interaction Designer)
Design intuitive dashboards and orchestration interfaces that make security insights clear and actionable for SOC teams.
Requirements: 3–5 years in SaaS or security UI/UX, strong Figma/Sketch skills, ability to simplify technical workflows.

5. Operating Systems Engineer (Systems / Endpoint / Platform Engineer – Windows, Mac, Linux)
Develop cross-platform endpoint agents. Ensure secure monitoring, efficient performance, and seamless orchestration connectivity.
Requirements: 3–5 years in OS internals, scripting (PowerShell/Bash), experience with EDR/endpoint tools, and cross-platform integration.

6. AI Engineer (ML Engineer / LLM Engineer / AI Security Engineer)

Build, deploy, and secure AI/LLM-powered solutions with a focus on trust, safety, and security. Responsibilities include developing AI pipelines, and implementing safeguards against adversarial inputs.
Requirements: Proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow, familiarity with LLM fine-tuning and deployment, and strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning Models.

RISE for students sessions aren’t just about startup talk—they’re about opening up new career imaginations.

Yesterday, our team member visited the Department of Information Technology at University of Sindh Jamshoro to share how NIC Hyderabad is helping students convert their academic work into market-ready ventures.

What made this session click was the alignment between IT students’ problem-solving mindset and the startup world’s hunger for innovation. We shared the nuts and bolts of how NIC enables this transition—through mentorship, training, and incubation pathways designed for early-stage founders.
