𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐱 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞.
During a hands-on training session, a learner confidently created a new Linux user and granted sudo access.

Everything worked perfectly.
Until a critical service stopped unexpectedly.

No code was changed.
No server crash.

The root cause?
👉 Incorrect user permissions.

This real scenario helped our learners understand an important truth:
𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒙 𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒓 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅 — 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚.

At an enterprise level, access control defines:
• System stability
• Security posture
• Operational discipline

✔ Assign permissions through groups, not individuals
✔ Follow the principle of least privilege
✔ Grant sudo access intentionally, not casually
✔ Regularly review users and access policies
✔ Remove unused or temporary access promptly
