The foreign exchange revenue generated by exports worth around 4 billion dollars annually is being achieved directly or indirectly using fabric made on Sulzer® Shuttleless Ma
chines. Unfortunately in the last 10 years, this Industrial Sector has become a victim of government negligence and policies. The potential of this sector was always underestimated and therefore resulted in the discouragement and frustrations of entrepreneurs. The industry is facing extreme crisis, and this vulnerable position could lead to a total collapse. This chaos is mainly due to the continuous rise in cost of doing business and law and order situation prevailing in the country, which cannot be resolved unless a serious collaboration between the stakeholders and government would take place on an emergency level. On this association platform we can put all our energies and wisdom to come up with a right strategy, in order to overcome the present crisis and achieve a long term sustainable growth. The today’s highly competitive environment does not allow us to wait, and therefore we are left with no other option but to use our synergy on this association level and face the emerging challenges encountered by all of us…….together.
